​Dr. Joy Moy is a Board-certified Doctor of Acupuncture and Ivy League graduate holding five degrees.

Dr. Moy specializes in treating acute and chronic pain pertaining to musculoskeletal disorders and Facial Aesthetics procedures to naturally improve and rejuvenate skin long-term as an alternative to toxic and synthetic injections that only provide short-term results.

 

Dr. Moy successfully treats pain conditions involving neck, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and back, as well as arthritis, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, shingles, plantar fasciitis, gastrointestinal disorders, stress, anxiety and headaches/migraines. She utilizes time-tested Acupuncture techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping Therapy and the latest innovative procedures, such as Microcurrent, a painless modality for treating a multitude of pain conditions by utilizing low-level electrical currents.

Dr. Moy treats NHL players, USTA players, PGA players, collegiate and amateur athletes. Having competed in high school and college sports, Dr. Moy takes interest in treating athletes and effective sports rehab, and is certified to perform Korean Sports Medicine. These techniques are regularly used on elite athletes participating on Korea's Olympic teams, which helps them recover from injuries and work-outs.

In addition, Dr. Moy is certified to perform Microneedling, RF (radiofrequency) Microneedling and Cosmetic Acupuncture, a highly-customized course of treatments designed to naturally reduce and/or eliminate the effects of aging on the face, reduce and eliminate wrinkles, acne, acne scars, skin texture issues and more.

As an herbalist and skincare formulator, Dr. Moy creates customized solutions that work made exclusively for Microneedling and Cosmetic Acupuncture patients that are used before, during and after treatments from her organic skincare line, Joy Moy® Skincare. Her products have been featured and used by VIPs at NY Fashion Week, Hamptons Fashion Week, South By Southwest (SXSW) and international film festivals.

 

Dr. Moy is a published author and sought after for teaching and public speaking engagements. She researches Eastern and Western medical findings and is frequently interviewed by journalists for newspaper and magazine articles. Dr. Moy opens her clinic to teach fellow doctors, and volunteers at the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY), the largest professional membership organization in New York State.
